Nationwide, Americans consume almost three billion pounds of chicken every year, and the number is rising.  Chester's is committed to offering outstanding tasting chicken in a clean, wholesome environment, coupled with prompt, courteous service, and high quality atmosphere.  Chester's has good food that customers come back for.

Chester's provides a range of options for franchise partners, and is very flexible.  Chester's won't force you into a commitment to open a dozen stores, and as a franchise fast food restaurant, the growth potential is there.

Chester's tries to make it possible for a hand's on owner-operator to make a decent living, by keeping all of the operational elements simple.  There's less time spent training (both for the franchise holder and their employees) and the menu is a proven one, without lots of gimmicky seasonal items.  Simple, fast, affordable and reliable: That is what Chester's is all about.

Chester's is amenable to co-branding and co-location.  If you already own a store, adding a Chester's as an in-store restaurant option is quite doable – the operation is so easy to set up that it can be done, from franchise application to serving your first chicken to your first customer inside of eight weeks.  Chester's provides extensive training, and a detailed and comprehensive operations manual, so that your facility can keep running and turning you a tidy profit from year to year.

Chester's is willing to help a new investor and franchiser out.  While they appreciate prior experience in the restaurant trade, they are willing to train franchise partners with no restaurant experience. The total investment (location, franchise fees, equipment, signage, and three months of working capital) can be as little as $75,000 for a kiosk style store in an office building or truck stop, or as high as $425,000 for a sit down dine in facility.  Chester's does require that potential investors be able to put in liquid cash of between $50,000 to $100,000 – this does cover all your training in setting up the restaurant.  Franchise fees for stand alone locations are $20,000, and in-store-stores are $15,000.  The royalty required is 4% for most locations, with an advertising fund contribution not to exceed 2% of the store's gross sales.

Chester's International does not offer financing, but can help you with the Small Business Administration financing requirements. Chester's will look at your proposed store format and available plots of land suitable for a location when considering your franchise application.  If approved, they also provide building plans that are tailored for given lot sizes and locations.
