Closets by Design has an extensive portfolio of best practices and management software to help you run your business, including accounting and contact management software built to their business, as well as estimating software that will let you see how the pieces fit together after you've taken measurements of the space to be designed for.  This software will also let you select from a variety of trims and wood finishes, set up custom drawer and cabinet and shelf widths, and go above and beyond in your ability to please your customers.

Closets By Design charges an initial franchise fee of $46,900, which covers an exclusive franchise area, and extensive training on the market, how to market to and find customers, and several college level condensed courses on running a small business successfully.  It's expected that the initial investment to make a Closets By Design franchise work will range from $121,000 to $300,000 after setting up warehouse and office space.

Once you've become a franchise partner, Closets By Design will give you extensive support in marketing and advertising, software updates on the materials and styles available at the manufacturing center, and in the field support for those cases where you need something more extensive than the software can deliver.  This support and training starts before you get your facility set up, and extends into site selection, and all aspects of the business in a hands-on training environment.
