ClosetTec is a market leader when it comes to custom closet and room organizers.  Most closet organization franchises are built as sales outlets run by franchise holders while the actual closet organizers are built at a factory by the main company.  The franchise holder sets up a consultation with the customer, and does measurements, estimates, and presents a catalog of materials, then, two to three weeks later, if an order is placed, the materials arrive for the franchise holder to install.

It's a growing business, and one of the leaders is ClosetTec, based out of Norwood, Massachusetts.  ClosetTec does things the old fashioned way, with detailed design specifications and plans, and everything they make is build to specifications by trained master craftsmen.  ClosetTec has several franchises around the country, and most client consultations are free – the money is made on the product, and the installation process.

Over the years, ClosetTec has moved beyond closet organizers to custom bed frames, pantry organizers, laundry room arrangements, even "wall beds" that turn a recreation room into a guest bedroom by dropping two catches.   ClosetTec has highly trained installers who will come on out to make sure that everything is installed correctly, and everything takes shape in a factory, with real people working the real materials on real machines, not pushing pixels around on a laptop screen.

Franchise opportunities remain as the business continues to grow, though ClosetTec is very close about who it takes on as a franchise partner.  You will need to pay a franchise fee of $50,000, and expect total capitalization to run around $250,000 dollars.  Most profit margins are quite good – in excess of 20% net over gross expenses, including cost of materials and labor, though local conditions may change that.

ClosetTec is looking to expand past the New England/Atlantic region, and offers extensive training on how to sell their products, how to do the initial consultation, how to measure, and how to get the right stats back to the factory for perfect delivery.

If you're the sort of person who likes selling hand crafted furniture items, and like the opportunity to make a good business selling high quality, made in America home improvement additions, and have a total net worth in excess of half a million dollars, contact ClosetTec about franchise opportunities today.
